David Umanzor is the Outreach Coordinator at Manhattan Area Technical College, where he plays a key role in developing and managing the college’s non-credit programs. David oversees Tech+, a program dedicated to making skill-based education more accessible to individuals, and Workforce Solutions, which helps employers identify and bridge their organization’s skills gaps through targeted education.

Before coming to Manhattan, David developed and delivered educational programs for suicide prevention in North Texas, and in 2023 was recognized as one of the Top 50 Latino Emerging Leaders in Fort Worth by the Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.

As part of Flagship Kansas.Tech, David is excited to bring awareness to the growth of the Kansas Tech Industry and partnering with businesses to ensure that there is adequate, well-prepared talent to drive future expansion.
