Amanda Duncan joined the Workforce Alliance of South Central Kansas in 2007 and has held several positions of increasing responsibility in the organization; she was promoted Vice President and Chief Business Development Officer in 2012. Ms. Duncan currently serves as a liaison to the US Department of Labor, the Kansas Department of Commerce, local Economic Development Organizations, and business groups throughout South Central Kansas. She also responsible for management of the WA’s Communications Department, Youth Employment and Work-Based Learning Programs, Return to Work/Stay at Work Programs, Rapid Response Layoff Assistance, Military Employment Strategies, Adult Re-Entry Programs, and Sector Strategy Initiatives in manufacturing, healthcare, and technology; she also serves as the Site Director for the Wichita Collaborative of the National Fund for Workforce Solutions. 

A fourth generation Kansan and native of Garden City, Ms. Duncan holds degrees from Wichita State and Washburn.  Universities. She also holds professional certifications from the Society of Human Resource Management and the Human Resource Certification Institute.  

Ms. Duncan is active in the workforce development and human resource professional communities, as well many local professional, civic and service organizations. She lives in and loves Wichita, where she and her husband are raising three children and two beagles.
