The Ad Astra Technology Summit, hosted at the Hyatt Regency Wichita, once again showcased the power of technology, collaboration, and innovation in Kansas. Bringing together tech leaders, educators, entrepreneurs, and students, this year’s Summit elevated the discussion of the Kansas tech sector, inspired groundbreaking ideas, shared invaluable knowledge, and empowered teachers to shape the future of technology education.

The Summit was made possible through the incredible support of title sponsors Weavix, CivicPlus, Panasonic Energy of North America, and Twin Valley. Additional major sponsors included Entrepreneurial Growth Ventures, Kansas Department of Commerce, Evergy, Emprise Bank, Kansas Turnpike Authority, Workforce Alliance of South Central Kansas, and Arista Networks, whose generous support contributed to the Summit’s success. Their leadership and vision — along with the contributions of numerous supporting organizations, including Greater Wichita Partnership, KC Tech Council, The Cosmosphere, and Exploration Place — demonstrated a steadfast commitment to advancing Kansas’ place in the technology landscape.

“Bringing Bill Nye here wasn’t just about having a big name — it’s about showing what happens when we put the right tools in the hands of great people. We believe in connecting the workforce to the best technology out there, and Bill Nye helped us kick off those important conversations. We’re proud to be part of this effort to move Kansas forward and make tech work for everyone.”

The Summit featured panels, keynote speeches, and networking opportunities, all designed to cultivate innovation and foster collaboration across the technology sector in Kansas. Attendees explored topics ranging from artificial intelligence to workforce development, with sessions emphasizing practical ways to make technology more inclusive and accessible.
