FlagshipKansas.Tech is fueled by bold, visionary volunteer leaders who drive the organization forward. The 2026 Governing Board is stacked with talent, bringing deep expertise across the organization’s three core pillars: raising the national profile of Kansas’ thriving tech industry, accelerating workforce development and championing technology education statewide.
New Governing Board Members
We are thrilled to welcome six dynamic new Governing Board members representing a cross-section of the Kansas tech ecosystem, from cloud architecture and higher education to state economic development and enterprise data strategy. Stay tuned as we spotlight each of these leaders in the coming months.
Executive Committee Leadership & Returning Members
Megan Harper, Director of Marketing & Sales at Twin Valley, was elected chair. Megan has been a driving force behind FlagshipKansas.Tech since co-leading the inaugural Ad Astra Technology Summit in 2022. She joined the Governing Board to lead the Awareness Committee before rising to vice chair and then board chair. Together with Twin Valley, Megan has been instrumental in expanding FlagshipKansas’ reach beyond the metros and into rural Kansas communities. She is joined by Interim Vice Chair Travis Scheopner.
Amanda Duncan, Vice President & Chief Development Officer for the Workforce Alliance of South Central Kansas, will serve as treasurer. And Thomas Papadatos, Senior Venture Investment Manager at Network Kansas, rounds out the Executive Committee as secretary.
“Between the Flagship Member Hub, the Ad Astra Technology Summit, and initiatives like our AI Starter Labs, the opportunities for Kansas tech professionals to connect and grow have never been stronger,” said Board Chair Megan Harper. “This board brings the energy, expertise, and commitment to take it all even further in 2026.”
Beyond its officers, the governing board features an impressive lineup of leaders spanning industry and education:
