FlagshipKansas.Tech is seeking nominations to fill open seats on its board in 2026, open to all FlagshipKansas members. This may include representatives from industry and supporting organizations, K-12 education, higher ed, and workforce development from across the state.
The board is specifically seeking to fill three open positions on the Governing Board along with Advisory Board positions on committees: Awareness, Ad Astra Technology Summit, Education, Membership, and Workforce.
The ask for Governing Board members:
- Attend monthly Governing Board meetings (last Friday of every month for 1.5 hours)
- Co-lead one of the 5 committees (1 meeting per month for 1 hour)
- Contribute to the FlagshipKansas mission by providing strategic leadership in the areas of tech industry awareness, education and workforce
- Maintain company (or individual) membership in the organization
The ask for Advisory Board members:
- Attend monthly committee meetings (typically 1/month for about 1 hour)
- Contribute to the committee’s mission by completing requested tasks between meetings
- Maintain company (or individual) membership in the organization
